1st Hythe Scout Group

1st Hythe scouts began back in 1909 when the group was first formed. This came about following Robert Baden Powell’s (BP) publication of Scouting for boys which inspired large numbers of young boys to put into practise what they had read. The rest is history and can be found on other web pages and links. One hundred years later another Ex-soldier and adventure Bear Grylls inspires the young today, and as our Chief Scout that keeps that BP spirit burning brightly providing fun, adventure and the challenges of the 21st century. We are Hythe's 1st and only Scout Group. We have 2 Beaver Colonies, 2 Cub Packs, A Scout troop and an Explorer Scout Unit. With a group available for everyone from 6yrs - 25yrs, Why not join in the fun?
