We at SEK understands the various challenges that people face to reach their employability goals, so we aim to support people in Folkestone to access services and move that one step closer to reaching their employability potential. The Project provides personalised 1:1 informal support from a experienced and skilled Employment Support Advisor. Together, you and the advisor will identify what your employability barriers are and develop a plan to overcome them. You will also expect to receive support with identifying opportunities and training - including employability training skills such as CV writing, IT, job searching and interview techniques. We can also offer guidance on becoming self-employed and starting up a business. To get involved with this fully funded projects you must be 18 years old and over, Unemployed or economically inactive, residing within the East Folkestone, Broadmead, Folkestone Harbour or Folkstone Central ward. Folkestone Office Number: 01227 200120 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. ***The Working Together project also has a number of exciting volunteer opportunities: Looking for voluntary work where you can: ✔️ Use your existing skills and knowledge. ✔️ Learn new skills and support a busy dynamic team. ✔️ Work remotely, from home and or in the busy office. ✔️ Be part of delivering an employability project design to support unemployed people living in poverty on a 1:1 basis. ✔️ Gain a work or character reference for future jobs. ✔️Take part in SEK volunteer celebrations, events and awards. ✔️ Be one of the first to know about any new internal job roles and training opportunities. ✔️ Receive support from project line managment and regular 1:1 meetings. 👍 If so, The Working Together project are looking for: 🗃 A Project Administrator with a great telephone manner and excellent organisational skills. 📧 A Project Communications Volunteer with experience monitoring Social Media accounts and producing digital graphics and promotional materials. 💻 A project Data analysis volunteer whose confident with Microsoft Excel and has great mathematical skills. 📢 A Community engagement volunteer whose great with people and a confident speaker.
